This collection contains Dr. James Bearden's clipping subject files used in his scholarship and teaching.
Biographical/historical information
Dr. James Bearden was named East Carolina University's Dean of the School of Business in 1968, a position he held for fourteen years. In 1982, he was named Assistant to the Chancellor for Public Service Activities. From 2002 until his retirement in 2016 Dr. Bearden served as the Director of the BB&T Center for Leadership Development. He retired from the university after 56 years of service.
