This collection contains materials from professor emeritus Julie Fay's time at East Carolina University including materials about the Readers Writing Series and the Word Wide Writers of America Series with speaker Luis Rodriguez. The collection also contains materials from the English Department and materials regarding projects documenting the aftermath of Hurricane Floyd including audiotape transcriptions of workshops and manuscript drafts. It also contains materials related to her poetry and reviews of her works, newspaper clippings, as well as her awards from ECU and personal items and ephemera from events she participated in outside of ECU. The collection includes VHS cassette tapes of recordings from the Readers Writing Series.
