Biographical/historical information

Belk Residence Hall was constructed in 1966 by Dudley & Shoe of Greenville, NC. Located on the south end of College Hill, it was originally intended as a male dormitory. The building was razed in 2015 to accomodate the construction of Gateway Residence Hall. Named for Henry Belk, member of the Board of Trustees and editor of the Goldsboro News Argus.

Collection contains scrapbooks, trophies, and certificates related to Belk Residence Hall on the campus of East Carolina University.
