Scope and arrangement

Includes commencement programs, invitations, and other printed material relating to fall, spring and summer commencements. Early commencement files may include commencement program cards, invitations, name cards, annual commencement programs, commencement Sunday programs, and class day exercise programs. In 1943, commencement program cards were no longer printed separately and began appearing in invitations. From 1949 through 1954 Summer School Commencement Programs were printed. Beginning in 1987 separate fall and spring commencement programs were printed.
