Biographical/historical information

The Department of Foreign Languages was established in 1923. In 1966 due to growth in enrollment, the department split into two departments of Romance Languages and Department of German and Russian. In 1975 these two departments were combined into the the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.

This collection contains annual reports, meeting minutes, self-studies, and correspondence related to the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
