This collection contains records about the administration of the Department of Elementary and Middle Grades Education. Included are annual reports, faculty meeting minutes, accredidation self studies, a publication on curriculum considerations, and course proposals.
Biographical/historical information
The Department of Elementary, Middle, and Secondary Education prepares future educators to teach core academic subjects â including mathematics, science, English language arts, social studies and business education â across Kâ12 classrooms. The department offers teacher preparation undergraduate programs in elementary, middle grades, and secondary content areas that lead to initial North Carolina teacher licensure, as well as graduate programs across all Kâ12 levels that support advanced-level teacher licensure.
