The Parking and Transportation Office manages the University's parking resources including the parking inventory and transportation program.
Biographical/historical information
The Parking and Transportation Office manages the University's parking resources including the parking inventory and transportation program. In addition to managing a motor vehicle fleet through the Central Motor Pool, the department manages surface parking lots and facilitates the use of alternative transportation methods. The Parking and Transportation Office provides guidance and assistance to the campus community and visitor guests on all parking-related issues and promotes compliance with the University's parking regulations through education in a general understanding of its parking system.
Scope and arrangement
The Records of the Department of Parking and Transportation include parking maps, parking guides, safety tips, memorandums and announcements, and parking permits concerning parking and transportation on East Carolina University's campus.
