Scope and arrangement

Captain Engle comments on his service during and after World War II on the USS SALT LAKE CITY, USS RINEHART, USS ROBERT I PAINE, and USS STORME. Also, he was assigned to the U.S. Fleet Training Center Pearl, Naval Station, Annapolis, OpNav (OP-31), CINCLANTFLT Staff, and the Armed Forces Staff College. His last assignment was as chief of staff for Commander Cruiser Division Three.
