  • Biographical / Historical Note
     

    Mary Louise Brantley was born 3 October 1922 in Nash County, North Carolina to Sherwood and Mary Ethel (Lamm) Brantley. She served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European and Pacific theaters. She was a Wilson County public Health Nurse from 1948 to 1978. In 1946, Brantley married Stanley S. Ordess and they had two sons, Mark and Jody. She died 28 November 2009.
