Biographical/historical information
In April 1937, the Speight-Stone Clinic opened in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Between 1937 and 1971, the clinic changed its name to Speight, Stone, Bell Clinic and then Memorial Hospital. On 1 June 1971, the Memorial Hospital closed and all patients were transferred to the new county hospital, Nash General Hospital.
