Biographical/historical information
Dr. Millard Daniel Hill was born 1901 February 4 to Zebulon B. and Lillian (Whitley) Hill. He practiced medicine from 1928 to 1969. Hill's first wife was Thelma L. McCabe whom he divorced in October 1957. Together they had Millard Jr. and Lillian Lee. In September 1958, Hill married Edith G. Boone. He was an officer of the North Carolina Medical Society. He died 1969 April 17.
Scope and arrangement
The collection is comprised of four notebooks kep by Millard D. Hill between 1926 and 1927. The topics discussed in each notebook are: fractures and radiology, preventative medicine, nervous and mental diseases, and neurological surgery notes.
