June 29, 2026, 0.25 cubic feet; Rowland Shaw Pruette, a native of Wadesboro, North Carolina, wrote this memoir of his time serving in the 34th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army during World War II. He served in North Africa, and fought in Italy as part of Company I of the 133rd Regiment. Gift of David R. Pruette (Rowland Pruette's son).
