This collection contains genealogy files compiled by Elizabeth (Betsy) Ross of Greenville, North Carolina, primarily related to families in Beaufort, Craven, Martin, and Pitt Counties, North Carolina. These files include individual family files containing family sheets and genealogy notes, plus abstracts of public records that she did from microfilm and the actual records, and notebooks of genealogy notes that include indexes to their information.

This collection contains genealogy files compiled by Elizabeth Ross primarily related to families in Beaufort, Craven, Martin, and Pitt Counties, North Carolina. These files include individual family files containing family sheets and genealogy notes, plus abstracts of public records that she did from microfilm and the actual records, and notebooks of genealogy notes that include indexes to their information. Besides covering family lines she was related to such as Ross, Grimes, James, Nelson, Andrews, Ellis, Godley, Butler, Galloway, and Whichard, these files cover families Elizabeth Ross was distantly related to, or, in many cases, was not related to at all but they lived in the same geographic areas.

These files include individual family files containing family sheets and genealogy notes, plus abstracts of public records that she did from microfilm and the actual records, and notebooks of genealogy notes that include indexes to their information. Besides covering family lines she was related to such as Ross, Grimes, James, Nelson, Andrews, Ellis, Godley, Butler, Galloway, and Whichard, these files cover families Elizabeth Ross was distantly related to, or, in many cases, was not related to at all but they lived in the same geographic areas. Also included in the total cubic footage of this collection are 8 cubic feet of books and journals (including publications written by Elizabeth Ross and Roger Kammerer which were published by her Flag Publications) that will be transferred to the North Carolina Collection.
