Bruce Wilson Crabtree was born on June 30, 1923, in Person County, North Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Lee Crabtree and Myrtle Wilson Crabtree. He married Frances Crabtree on October 8. 1949 and they had two children together; Rebecca Crabtree and Eugene Crabtree. After his first wife passed away from cancer in 1965, he remarried to Clara Jenkins on June 30, 1967. With her help, Bruce Crabtree would write his memoir, Precious Memories in my Life.
This collection includes a personal memoir written by Bruce Wilson Crabtree. Included are photocopied family photographs, a list of ancestors, his childhood home and chores, life on the farm, education, entertainment, church, community, and family. It is an unbound account that includes over 150 pages of information on his life.
