USNA Class of 1924 scrapbook kept by John Thompson Warren (1901-1958) contains mainly photographs particularly concerning his 1921 cruise on the USS Kansas and his 1922 cruise on the USS Florida, but also contains a few documents and clippings.
John Thompson Warren was appointed from the 9th Congressional District Tennessee in 1920 as Midshipman while he was attending the Naval Academy. He sailed on the USS Kansas in 1921 and the USS Florida in 1922. Warren retired from the Navy in 1954 as a Rear Admiral.
This collection contains a scrapbook of photographs, letters, and drawings relating to John Thompson Warren's time in the Navy. The bulk of the material is dated between the years 1921-1925.
