Biographical/historical information
Willard E. Rowe (May 17, 1923-March 2, 2011) of Louisburg, Franklin County, North Carolina, was the son of William Ernest and Mary Elizabeth Nelms Rowe. He married Daisy Brantley on October 6, 1944. After 4 years at Nyack Missionary College in Nyack, N.Y., he and Daisy began their missionary work in Guatemala in 1960 where they served for the next 34 years. During this time Willard Rowe also broadcast daily Spanish radio programs. He returned to the USA to work in the Home Office of the Evangelical Baptist Mission in Franklin County, N.C., until 2006 when he had to curtail his ministry work due to ill health.
