Bryant L. Tritt was born in December 7, 1903 in Gaston County, North Carolina to William August Tritt and Lillie Guin. He married Leona May Whitley, who was born in Davie County in February 13, 1906, on November 29, 1924. Bryant L. Tritt died in 1978 while Leona May Whitley passed away on November 29, 1997. The collection contains records from the Tritt-Whitley family bibles in North Carolina.

The collection consists of photocopies of genealogical records from the family bibles of Bryant L. Tritt and his wife, Leona May Whitley.
