The Entre Nous Book Club of Greenville, NC was formed in the fall of 1962 by a small group of women. The first President was Mrs. Moye Dail, while Mrs. Banks Cozart served as the first Vice President. Entre Nous is French for "between us." The club's purpose was stated as "The enrichment of our minds and for social enjoyment." Besides social gatherings, the club held annual meetings and other events. These events included hosting invited speakers from the local area, many with a variety of professional backgrounds.
Club records include a scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, minutes, book lists, photographs, programs (with lists of officers) and yearbooks. There is an additional run of yearbooks, photographs of events and meeting minutes that are separate from the scrapbook
