August 18, 2011, (unprocessed addition 21), 1.0 cubic feet; Records (1943-1996) include materials relating to the General Society and to the North Carolina Society. General Society materials include the constitutions and by-laws, muster rolls, directories and minutes, yearbooks, Updates to A Second Supplement to the 1922 Index of Ancestors and Roll of Members, The Gazette, programs for meetings and various manuals related to ceremonies, regulations for the wearing of insignia, and the responsibilities of state society officers. Also found here are some historical publications, constitutions and by-laws, and rosters for New York, Ohio, Texas, California, South Carolina, Georgia, the District of Columbia, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania. North Carolina Society records include files (1949-1994) of correspondence, financial records, membership lists, agendas, minutes and lists of officers. A lot of the correspondence was written by people who were secretary-treasurer through the years such as William H. Dartt, Kendrick Van Pelt, William Ashe Bason, Luther T. Hartsell III, Thomas D. Parker and William A. Parker. Donor: Elizabeth H. Sparrow.

December 12, 2012, (unprocessed addition 22), 1.25 cubic feet; Records (1967, 1992, 1995, and 2002-2011) include materials relating mainly to the North Carolina Society but also including some yearbooks and newsletters (The Gazette) of the General Society and some publications such as Society of Colonial Wars 1892-1992 and a CD of the Society of Colonial Wars Index of Ancestors and Roll of Members for 2007. The bulk of the material pertains to the term of Society of Colonial Wars in the State of North Carolina Governor W. Keats Sparrow. He was elected for the 2008-2010 term, but he died on November 11, 2009, and his term was completed by John B. Flowers III. Included are correspondence, revised constitution and bylaws, financial records, documents related to the Spring and Fall Court meetings and to history-related projects, rosters, application and recruiting materials, and the newsletter Tar Heel Warrior.
