Scope and arrangement

This collection consists of land records (1790-1835) for property on the the north side of the Tar River in Edgecombe County, N.C. Also included is information concerning the Little, Cromwell, Shelton, Moorning, and Boykin families.

Also found in this collection are a Tarboro cotton factory stock certificate (1910) and a gin-saw sharpening testimonial.
