Biographical/historical information
The collection consists of personal correspondence written by Harry Seymour Logan (1883-1957) to his half-sister, Mrs. H. C. (Murdena Susan Logan) Kennerly of Pinehurst, N.C.
Scope and arrangement
The letters are written from San Francisco and Sacramento, California, and most of the information concerns personal matters. Also included are references to experiments in a new treatment for cancer, the hardships of the Great Depression (1930-1931), and Depression-related actions of President Herbert C. Hoover (1931).
