Linwood S. Inscoe, formerly Nash County superintendent of schools, is the official historian of Nash County.
Scope and arrangement
The "History of Nash County Board of Education" appeared in a series of thirty articles in the Nashville Graphic, and it was planned as a part of a larger work on the history of Nash County. The "History of Nash County Board of Education" is a comprehensive survey of the history of education in the county from the early years of the nineteenth century to the end of World War II.
