Abstract:

Associate professor of music at East Carolina, Mark Ford is making music fun through a mixture of mellow and mirth sounds. In directing the ECU Percussion Ensemble and the student-based professional steel drum band, Panama Steel, Ford inspires students to not only entertain but also connect with the audience.
