Abstract:
In the Neuse and Trent Rivers as well as scattered across different areas of Craven County, especially in Brice's Creek, fishermen and residents have been catching mullet fish by the thousands. Trapped by the continuation of a construction project headed by the Nello Teer Company, workers inadvertently trapped thousands of mullet fish within the local waters. The Nello Teer Company has reported that up to five hundred people per week have been scooping up mullet fish with a variety of object ranging from tubs to stringers.
