Metro Magazine examines four leading American history books which are on the North Carolina approved textbook list for classroom use to see how the authors present the nation's economic history. The period reviewed covered from 1865 to the Clinton era. The study concluded that students using these books are presented a negative view of individual entrepreneurship and enterprise.
