John E. C. Godley, who claimed to be 104 years old on June 6, 1902. He claimed to be a veteran of the War of 1812-15, the Seminole War in Florida, the Mexican War and the Civil War. He had been married twice and had five children. He was a root and herb doctor who made wonderful soap.
