Abstract:
In May 2023, Surry-Yadkin Electric Membership Corporation partnered with Hollar and Greene Produce Company to switch shipping units used for cold storage from diesel to electric power. This is the first time the technology has been employed by one of North Carolina's electric cooperatives.
