Abstract:
Garza Baldwin, Jr., group vice-president of Olin Corporation's Fine Paper and Film Group located in Pisgah Forest in Transylvania County, is featured in this month's We The People Magazine's North Carolina Businessman in the News. The plant, which employs over 3,000, makes a substantial share of all the country's cigarette paper, cellophane, lens tissues, high-quality lightweight printing paper, one-time carbonizing tissue and a variety of other specialty and fine paper products.

Abstract:
Ecusta Paper Corporation, a unique industry located at Pisgah Forest, near Brevard, Transylvania County, recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. It is one of the most interesting plants, making paper for cigarettes, and providing the area with numerous jobs.
