Abstract:

"Devon Goodwin uses his farms to feed local people and inspire black farmers." An Afghanistan war veteran, Goodwin suffered traumatic injury that caused him to redirect his life aspirations. He opened Off the Land Fames in Laurinburg in 2018. Goodwin sells produce wholesale and operates the only U-pick farm in the region.
