Abstract:
Carolina Narrow Fabric Company was founded in 1928 in Winston-Salem. Its purpose was to weave insulating tapes of various widths and thicknesses for the electrical trade. Today it is a major supplier to the fields of electronics, recreation, ship building, aeronautics, medicine and textiles.
