Abstract:
In May 2017, the Blount-Bridgers Garden Committee opened its sixth annual Spring Garden Symposium. The Blount-Bridgers Historic Garden, a non-profit organization that host's many of Tarboro's public events, including the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Octoberfest Beer, Brats and Blues, and the esteemed Hobson Pittman Gala.
Abstract:
This article features the beautiful Blount-Bridgers House, built in Tarboro, NC in 1808 that houses two museums. The first floor exhibits artifacts and furnishings from the 19th century; while the upstairs houses the permanent collection of native artist Hobson Pittman and exhibition space for art shows.
