Nancy Whitehurst (d. 1865) widow of William Whitehurst, and da. Of Thomas Carson. Between 1865 and 1886 various heirs petitioned for their share of her estate. Her son W. Riley Whitehurst and his children had moved to Virginia, but were never found. The children were: 1) Elizabeth Manning (m.1) Samuel Crisp, Jr., m.2) William Peletier (Tyre) Manning; 2) Piney wife of Azeriah Coburn. Thomas Allen died intestate, and his land fell to his sister, Gatsey Allen Adams (m. Archibald Adams). Archibald and Gatsey had children: Craven Adams and Martha Adams (m. Wyatt Moye). Craven Adams arrives at age 21 in Feb./March 1826. Samuel Simpson buys the Allen land from the heirs.
