Weldon Mills Distillery with retail locations in Weldon and Durham is currently generating more than $4 million in annual revenue. Next year its bourbon capacity will climb to 160,000 gallons a year and the company is planning to add a mass production facility for producing 3 million gallons of bourbon annually. the company was founded in 2018 and at present has 35 employees. The owners are Bruce Tyler and Michael Hinderliter.
