A Portrait of the Artist as a Gay Man

Title
A Portrait of the Artist as a Gay Man
Description
Mixed media by Paul Scott Nissenbaum for Spring 2012 in ART5500. Multiple Inkjet Prints on Watercolor Paper, Acrylic, Charcoal, Pastel. This is my photography senior exhibition and it consists of 100 8.5" x 11" mixed media photographic prints.  It is a celebration of my homosexuality and the coming out process.  Within the installation I am able to explore and express every emotion I have repressed over the past 12 years.  The installation transitions from silhouetted figures to more defined and clear figures.  The transition is from discomfort and anger to happiness and freedom.  Mediums used include: Multiple Inkjet Prints on Watercolor Paper, Acrylic, Charcoal, Pastel, Colored Pencil, Marker.
