My Paradigm Shift

Title
My Paradigm Shift
Description
Mixed media by Paul Scott Nissenbaum for Spring 2012 in ART4562. Watercolor Paper, Stonehenge Paper, Acrylic, Charcoal, Pastel, Thread, Pins. This is the final piece of my installation, "My Paradigm Shift."  It represents my admittance of my homosexuality openly and voluntarily.  It represents the end of the main hurdles of the coming out process.  The collage is a large mass that is moving and growing at a rapid pace overtaking everything around.  I have no inhibitions or fears of myself anymore and this collage is these feelings visualized.
