Robert Morgan Papers
Papers (1979) of Robert Morgan, including correspondence, programs, a photocopy of a United States Senate memorandum, and a photocopy of a news clipping. The correspondence includes invitations for Morgan to speak at various events across North Carolina, as well as invitations to dinners and celebrations. Robert Morgan served as North Carolina State Senator (1965-1967), Attorney General (1968-1974), and U.S. Senator (1974-1980). He was also a member of the Boards of Trustees of East Carolina University (1958-1973) and of Lees-McRae College (1974-1977). He entered the North Carolina Bar in 1952.
