King, history teacher, from Rich Square, NC who taught in high schools and elementary schools in Concord, NC, Wilson, NC, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Charlotte, NC, Chapel Hill, NC, and Wake County, NC, 1954-1984. King attended Women's College of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, NC, 1950-1952, and University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, 1952-1954. Her interview covers her family background, teaching experiences, philosophy, and desegregation. Interviewer: Sarah C. Watkins.
