- Nearly thirty page handwritten manuscript from the Elias Carr papers discussing the farming, production and manufacturing of cotton. It also discusses "a logical and satisfactory solution of the negro problem", which would be to train them in more aspects of the cotton industry than just harvesting. Date approximated.
