Land indenture between T. A. and Elizabeth Johnson and William D. Cappage
Description
The first two pages are an indenture between T. A. and Elizabeth Johnson of Nash County, North Carolina, and William D. Cappage of Franklin County, N.C., whereby Cappage paid the Johnsons $22.50 for the Joshua Johnson tract of land in Franklin County. The third page is a transfer of the deed from Cappage to Richard M. Johnson on 31 December 1870. Cappage's name is variously spelled and signed as Coppedge on the deed transfer. The final page is signed by the county register for the deed having been registered on 6 July 1871.
