Handwritten minutes from the East Carolina Teachers College Student Government Association (SGA) meetings dated September 25, 1924 to May 18, 1925. The minutes provide an image of college life at the time.The bulk of the minutes regard student discipline for various offenses and the consequences handed down by SGA to offenders. During this period, only female students lived on campus. Of particular note is a list of privileges which all students had at the time and privileges which each individual class had (p.55-59). Generally, these focus on visitation rights, rules about dating, and restrictions on free time. Also included are the proposed names for buildings on campus, including the library and two dormitories. The minutes are written on the letterhead of the organization.
