Description
Fighting the storm published in The Illustrated Buffalo Express. The article describes the lifesavers of the United States. The wreck and rescue of the crew of The Mimi, a German ship, which ran aground off of the coast of Oregon on February 13, 1913 is described along with the wreck of the tug, The Margaret, off the coast of New Jersey on December 20, 1912. Included in the article are many images of life-saving crews at drill.
