Black and white photograph of a doctor's office built in the late 19th century in the Penny Hill community, Pitt County, N.C. In 2003, the Thigpen Foundation was established by the Rev. Dr. Edward L. Thigpen to repair the building in hopes of one day making it part of a museum. Date approximated.
