Mahogany wood monaural stethoscope: a hollow, cylindrical, wood stem with one fluted end; other end flared and flat on the bottom. Additional research and Museum documentation reveal this particular artifact is a reproduction piece modeled after a mid-19th Century monaural stethoscope.
