John F. Kennedy inside a tobacco warehouse

The warehouse was Farmer's Warehouse, just across the river on the right side headed away from town. Kennedy had just flown in to give a campaign speech on campus. This was the "local color" stop. Many who remember his visit recall his stop at Farmer's.
