The Greenville Jaycees were sponsoring this Air Show to raise money for the newly created Boy's Club.I talked with Bevo just before he took off and unfortunately saw him hit the tree. As best I remember the FAA report said ufuel starvation caused the crash.I had correspondence with his widow a few days after the crash.
