- Pitt County the last few weeks has turned up some unusual fruit. Left is a tomato that weighs 2 3/4 lbs., which was grown by Mrs. Jessie Williams. The tomato is approximately 7 inches in diameter. Right, is a Tennessee Lima bean that is a foot long, grown by Fountain Braxton, there are 19 beans on his plant over a foot long.
