Abstract:

The new head of Salem College, Summer Johnson McGee is seeking to revitalize the insititution founded in 1772. The new focus will be an emphasis on health related fields science technology, engineering and math. Declines in enrollment and financial pressures in 2018 have prompted the board of trustees to seek changes.
