Abstract:

Chartered in 1941 as a social club in Greenville's black community, the Bachelor Benedict Club continues today as a channel for civic and community involvement for black men. A recent merger with the less exclusive Twentieth Century Club has aided both clubs in forwarding service missions and building upkeep ias younger generations now have less interest in joining.
