Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels, hip-hop legend of Run-D.M.C., is coming to Raleigh for the North Carolina Comicon: Oak City. Growing up as a Catholic schoolkid, comics helped McDaniels to express himself through rap and hip-hop. He founded Darryl Makes Comics and created a series of critically acclaimed graphic novels.
