This is the story of Lula McLean’s Rag Doll, stolen from the McLean House, Appomattox Court House, where Gen. Robert E. Lee signed the surrender.
The rag doll was a ‘Silent Witness’ to the Surrender and eventually wound up in the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park in 1992.
